EVERRICH’s Demonstrates its Dedication to Local Communities with Lunar New Year Around the Corner and President Simon Chiang taking the Lead

Faithfully operating with the core values of integrity, innovation, and transparency, EVERRICH Duty Free Shop takes pride in its active volunteer culture. Despite the winter coldness, President Chiang of EVERRICH took the lead in delivering warmth and love to three social care institutions in Taoyuan. Chiang stated that EVERRICH held in very high regard the altruism, “public service-oriented and benefiting the community.” EVERRICH is sharing care and love through service on a daily basis.

As the leader of the company, Chiang makes it a yearly routine to be involved with the community before Lunar New Year to give back to society and hope to act as a role model for all employees. In 2024, EVERRICH hosted 570 volunteering events, and the staff contributed a total of 53,623 volunteer hours during their time off.

Today, nearly one hundred employees gave up their time to bring care and love to three social care institutions: (1) As we have every year since 2011, EVERRICH visited the “Adolescents’ Home (ADH) Taoyuan” and led activities such as hiking and paintball. We also invited ADH Taoyuan’s Big Change Band to provide a rousing performance during. There were also hands-on activities, including lessons on how to make dumplings and rice balls. “Grandpa Chiang” also joined the fun and warmed their hearts.

Since 2023, EVERRICH has been actively supporting the An-Con Mental Retardation Training Services Institution, which cares for individuals with moderate physical and mental disabilities, with an average age of nearly 50. Through a variety of activities, they aim to enrich the lives of the residents. Chiang joined the staff and residents in making Lunar New Year wealth tree ornaments, creating a wholesome hand-crafting experience. (3) “Lohas Center”, an institution housing children and adolescents 2-18 years of age who have lost familial support, is also one of EVERRICH’s long-term social service partners. Today, “Grandpa Chiang” visited in person to interact with the residents, make rice balls together, and give them red envelopes for an early Lunar New Year blessing. It’s heart-warming to hear their words of gratitude, “Thank you, Grandpa Chiang!”
