EVERRICH Joins Earth Hour for the 8th Consecutive Year
2025.03.22 - 2025.03.22

The 2025 Earth Hour international environmental campaign took place on the evening of March 22 (Saturday) at 8:30 PM. Through a global lights-out movement, it called for greater awareness of climate change. As a landmark in Taiwan’s tourism industry, EVERRICH has embraced the core philosophy of “public service orientation benefiting the public” and has consistently practiced corporate social responsibility. This year marked the 8th consecutive year that EVERRICH participated in the Earth Hour campaign.
EVERRICH’s Taipei Downtown Store, Neihu, Golden Lake Plaza, in collaboration with Golden Lake Hotel, and PROFOND Pier 3 (澎坊購物休閒廣場), in collaboration with Discovery Hotel, along with PROFOND Duty-Free Shops located in Xiaoliuqiu and Green Island, all joined in by shutting off decorative building lights and non-essential lighting for one hour, contributing to energy saving and carbon reduction efforts.

Since Taiwan’s participation in Earth Hour began in 2010, the initiative has reached its 14th year, with a cumulative reduction of approximately 808 metric tons of CO2 emissions across the island, equivalent to planting more than 73,561 trees that have grown for 20 years.
EVERRICH Duty-Free Shop is dedicated to providing excellent services to travelers while also promoting environmental action through initiatives such as beach cleanups, tree planting, and other eco-friendly measures as part of the “EVERRICH 1%” ESG sustainability development program. We invite everyone to contribute 1% of their efforts toward the sustainable future of the Earth, showcasing Taiwan’s green influence to the world.
