EVERRICH Duty Free Shop, committed to fostering international exchange and collaboration while advancing social welfare initiatives, established the EVERRICH foundation in 2006. As it enters its third decade, we are continuing to witness the EVERRICH foundation’s dedication to its founding mission. The foundation has created gallery spaces in major international airports across Taiwan, inviting professional curatorial teams to organize exhibitions featuring the works of outstanding Taiwanese artists. Beyond showcasing art to local and international travelers, these galleries offer an immersive artistic experience right from the start of their journeys.
The current exhibition, Masters of Art, highlights selected works from the Wangyuanlin Culture Art Foundation’s collection of Zhumeiyuan Culture and Art Award winners. The Wangyuanlin Culture Art Foundation holds the Zhumeiyuan Culture and Art Award, a national oil painting competition, in order to encourage elite artistic creation and to promote the sustainability of art. This year marks the 10th edition of the award. Over the past nine years, it has attracted nearly 3,000 participants and received widespread acclaim from Taiwanese art communities. Chairman Wang Yuanlin shared, “I look forward to seeing fresh talent invigorate the art world, uncovering talented new artists, and witnessing the promising future of Taiwanese art.” This vision resonates deeply with EVERRICH foundation Chairman Chiang, as both leaders are united in their commitment to elevating the development of Taiwanese art, ensuring its sustainability, and allowing Taiwanese art to thrive and gain international recognition.
The exhibition, Masters of Art, features the work of 18 artists whose creations excelled in the competition. These pieces, spanning detailed realism, semi-figurative expressions, and abstract interpretations, explore diverse themes ranging from natural landscapes to human society and industrial development. A total of 24 exceptional works are on display, offering a rich and captivating experience for travelers during this seasonal transition from winter to spring.
