Global Exclusive! Taoyuan International Airport’s Taiwan Popular Music Lounge Makes Its Debut, Enriching Travelers’ Memories of Taiwanese Culture

EVERRICH hosted the inauguration ceremony of the C7 Lounge at Gate C7 in Taoyuan International Airport. The event was graced by Deputy Minister Sue Wang from the Ministry of Culture, Secretary-General Hou-Ching Li from The General Association of Chinese Culture, Chairman Wei-Fu Yang, and General Manager Hsiao-Lun Fan from Taoyuan International Airport Corporation Ltd., General Manager Chien-Ting Chiang from EVERRICH D.F.S. Enno Cheng, the Golden Melody Awards winner and celebrated Taiwanese singer, performed several catchy songs, captivating the audience and marking the inception of the unique Chinese pop music lounge, Echoic Memory of Taiwan, at Taoyuan International Airport. Cheng emotionally expressed that music is akin to taking off and landing for her, allowing her to embark on a spiritual journey through music.

Chien-Ting Chiang pointed out in his speech that EVERRICH spared no effort in planning and creating a series of landscape rest areas and 24 themed lounges at the airport, among which the second terminal’s lounge at Taoyuan International Airport, themed “Taiwan X World’s Exciting Heartbeat Line,” collaborated with Taiwan’s artists, musicians, and others in industry, government, and academia, transforming the airport into an artistic creation platform. With various themed lounges based on Taiwan’s creativity and cultural concepts, Taiwan is envisioned not just as Taiwan’s Taiwan but also as the world’s Taiwan.

For the first time at Taoyuan International Airport, EVERRICH engaged travelers through their auditory senses, allowing them to relax in a musical atmosphere and interact with personalized music creations, immersing themselves in the allure of Taiwanese pop music. They expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Taipei Music Center for providing invaluable resources for the lounge, and they appreciated Taoyuan International Airport Corporations support, which allowed EVERRICH to provide an enriching experience for travelers during their waiting time.

He praised, “The Echoic Memory of Taiwan lounge at Gate C7 is not only Taiwan’s first but also the world’s first pop music-themed lounge.” He expressed gratitude to EVERRICH for sparing no expense and to Taoyuan International Airport Corporation Ltd. for sharing the common belief. Through various means, they showcase Taiwan’s cuisine, culture, and other specialties to locals and travelers, encouraging visitors to spend more time at the airport. Deputy Minister Sue Wang from the Ministry of Culture also expressed gratitude to EVERRICH for utilizing the lounge to connect travelers with Taiwanese pop music culture, making the lounge a gateway to Taiwanese culture and the airport a hub for experiencing and connecting with the world.

The C7 Echoic Memory of Taiwan lounge is designed to encapsulate the past, present, and future tenses. The past tense area features a nostalgic giant tape recorder and cassette, displaying pivotal Taiwanese pop music songs and captivating scenes from the Golden Melody Awards, transporting everyone back to Taiwan’s pop music history. The modern area includes a mini concert stage for visitors to freely take photos and check-in, while the future area incorporates technological elements, including the BeiLiu 5 Cloud TMC-CL1 sampler developed by Taipei Music Center, allowing travelers to create their own Taiwanese pop music in less than three minutes.
