T1 Bistro : D Reopens Post-Pandemic, Partnering with BAL to Launch 5 Signature Cocktails and Desserts Featuring Intense Popping Pearls

To ensure Terminal 1 keeps pace with Terminal 2 in culinary offerings, Bistro : D in Zone B of Terminal 1 reopens after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It stands as the only restaurant at Taoyuan International Airport serving flame-grilled, aged boneless short ribs. The bistro has partnered with the globally recognized BAL, known for infusing classic spirits and cocktails with pearls, to introduce four exclusive airport-only cocktails and one special dessert, offering a unique dining experience for airport travelers.

Must-try dishes at the bistro include succulent, richly marbled flame-grilled boneless short ribs and pork rice bowls made with premium Taiwanese Choho Pig, topped with the chef’s special rice bowl sauce. Signature drinks include five newly launched cocktails and desserts by BAL and BD, featuring intense popping pearls. For the first time, a Taiwan-exclusive “Kaoliang Popping Pearl (高粱爆珠)” cocktail is introduced, challenging travelers’ taste buds.
